It's time for the second legs of the UEFA Champions League knockout play-offs, and by the end of Wednesday, we will know the makeup of the Round of 16 stage. Follow all the action live with us here across both nights of drama.

Wednesday, February 25th

23:55 CET - Well, what a night! Real Madrid and PSG have booked their spots in the last 16, as have Atalanta and Galatasaray in rather more dramatic fashions, it must be said.

With that, Borussia Dortmund, BenficaJuventus and Monaco have all been knocked out of the competition.

We know about the possible pairings for the Round of 16, but the draw won't be conducted until Friday. Here's all you need to know about that, until then.

23:37 CET - That's all she wrote in Turin, and for the knockout play-offs. Galatasaray have won 7-5 on aggregate after a hugely entertaining match in which 10-man Juventus scored three unanswered goals to force extra time, before running out of gas. Gala will face either Liverpool or Tottenham in the Round of 16.

23:34 CET - Gala have scored another to make it 2-3 on the night, but 7-5 on aggregate. Surely that's game over now. A valiant effort from the Juventus players, but they have run out of steam in extra time.

23:17 CET - Galatasaray have broken the aggregate deadlock! After conceding three in regular time, Gala have scored to go 6-5 up, and it just had to be that man, Victor Osimhen. His goal came with the last kick of the first half of extra time.

23:01 CET - Real Madrid have edged Benfica 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu, winning the play-off 3-1 on aggregate. It wasn't a vintage performance from Los Blancos, but they won't lose too much sleep over it; they move on to the final 16, where they will face Manchester City or Sporting.

22:58 CET - Juventus have forced extra time. Wow. The hosts, down to 10 men, scored three goals to make it 5-5 on aggregate against Galatasaray, who must be somewhat shellshocked. Can they reverse things? They’ll have 30 more minutes to try!

22:54 CET - PSG have hung on, they have drawn with 10-man Monaco 2-2, but win the tie 5-4 on aggregate. With that, the holders are through to the Round of 16, while Monaco are out of the competition. The Parisians will find out on Friday whether they'll next face Barcelona or Chelsea.

22:50 CET - Monaco have scored a late goal; they now trail PSG 5-4 on aggregate. Too little, too late?

22:43 CET - Oh my days, Juventus are back on level terms! Would you believe it, 10-man Juve have scored a third unanswered goal, through Weston McKennie, to go 5-5 with Galatasaray on aggregate. Incredible. At this rate, you'd back them to win it!

22:40 CET - Vinicius Junior has scored to put Real Madrid 2-1 up against Benfica, 3-1 on aggregate. The winger was put through one-on-one with the keeper and slotted the ball in confidently to put the tie to bed, it feels. And boy, did he dance!

22:30 CET - Hang on, it's not all over for Juve... The Old Lady have scored through Federico Gatti to make it 2-0, despite being a man down. They still trail 5-4, but... can they do the unthinkable? It's getting nervy for Galatasaray.

22:24 CET - Make that 2-1 to PSG on the night, and 5-3 in the tie: They've added another. This time it's the elegant Georgian, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, putting the hosts into a commanding position.

22:19 CET - PSG have scored! Well, that didn't take long at all for the Parisians to make the most of their man-advantage - barely over a minute, in fact. Marquinhos got the goal to put the hosts 4-3 up in the tie.

22:17 CET - And we've got another red card. This time, it's over in Paris, where Monaco's Mamadou Coulibaly has been shown his second yellow in just four minutes... The tie is level at 3-3, but PSG will feel confident now.

22:09 CET - There's been a big twist in Turin! Lloyd Kelly has been sent off for Juventus. That is HUGE for Galatasaray, who now lead the tie 5-3, and have a man advantage to boot.

22:06 CET - The second halves are underway around the grounds, which means we are only 45 minutes or so away from knowing the makeup of the Round of 16... or will we need extra time?!

21:52 CET - It is half-time across the games in Europe, with all contests finely poised. Real Madrid and Galatasaray lead on aggregate still, while PSG and Monaco are all square.

21:46 CET - Monaco have taken the lead at PSG on the stroke of half-time, which, incredibly, means the tie is now level at 3-3. Can they produce a huge upset against their fellow Ligue 1 outfit? Maghnes Akliouche scored the goal, and on his birthday!

21:37 CET - Juve have gone 1-0 up on the night against Galatasaray, with Manuel Locatelli scoring from the penalty spot! However, they trail 5-3 on aggregate and have a long way to go if they want to mount a seismic comeback.

21:17 CET - But Real Madrid have responded instantly, with Aurelien Tchouameni making it 1-1 on the night and putting the home side up in the tie!

21:15 CET - Well, well, well... Rafa Silva has given Benfica the lead at Real Madrid, meaning the score is now 1-1 on aggregate. This tie just got interesting.

21:00 CET - We are now underway in the final games of the play-offs! What twists and turns are in store for us?

20:45 CET - What a remarkable end to a remarkable tie! A 98th-minute penalty from Lazar Samardzic has seen Atalanta win 4-1 on the night, overturning a 2-0 deficit and knocking Borussia Dortmund out of the Champions League.

An incredible result for the Italian side, who are into the last 16.

20:19 CET - But Dortmund are not out of this yet! Karim Adeyemi has struck to make it 3-1 on the night and 3-3 on aggregate. This game is anyone's now.

20:08 CET - Back to Bergamo and Atalanta are now 3-0 ahead against Dortmund and heading through as things stand! Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic was the goalscorer following on from his strike against Napoli at the weekend.

Can Dortmund mount a comeback now after letting a tie that was once in their control slip through their hands?

20:00 CET - Team news is in for the matches this evening, and the headline news is that Victor Osimhen starts for Galatasaray at Juventus after being an injury doubt leading up to the match.

19:37 CET - It is half-time in the early kick-off and a goal just before half-time has given Atalanta real hope of turning this tie around! They are now 2-0 up on the night and level on aggregate at 2-2 with a half still to come in front of their home supporters... Game on!

18:53 CET - Well, they have made the perfect start to doing just that! Gianluca Scamacca has had an up-and-down campaign for Atalanta, but when he is in form, the forward is a danger, and he has just shown why after pouncing on a loose ball to fire his side right back into this tie.

18:50 CET - Play is now underway in Bergamo... Can the hosts pull off a dramatic comeback win?

Follow the action here.

18:35 CET - We are just 10 minutes away from the first match of a fascinating evening getting underway!

It is a big evening for Emre Can, with the Dortmund midfielder making his 50th appearance in the UCL. Will he mark the milestone with a big performance? One thing is for sure: the visitors will be relying on his experience and composure to help them get over the line.

18:55 CET - Read for team news from the early kick off in Bergamo? Team news is in for what is a crucial evening for the home side.

17:00 CET - Good evening and welcome back to the final evening of the Champions League playoffs! We start the action tonight from Atalanta against Borussia Dortmund and it is the Italian hosts who have it all to do to turn the tie around.

Dortmund won the first leg 2-0 at home and will fancy their chances of progressing, although 2-0 is far from a comfortable scoreline and Atalanta will be hoping to take advantage of their great home support.

Following the conclusion of that tie is three intriguing second legs that get underway at 21:00 CET. The highlight clash sees Real Madrid host Benfica with a slender lead from the first leg. Alvaro Arbeola will fancy his side's chances of seeing out the tie at the Santiago Bernabeu but Jose Mourinho is a master of knockout football and won't go down without a fight.

Elsewhere, Juventus will attempt the seemingly impossible and turn their tie against Galatasaray around whilst PSG host Monaco with a 3-2 lead to protect.

Tuesday, February 24th

23:25 CET - That's all from another entertaining evening in the Champions League, but be sure to tune in again tomorrow as the second legs of the play-offs continue, with Real Madrid, Juventus and holders PSG all in action.

Check out Wednesday's schedule here.

23:00 CET - Well, the evening's matches are over with Bodo/Glimt, Newcastle, Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid all through to the Round of 16, while Inter, Qarabag, Olympiacos and Club Brugge are now all eliminated from the Champions League.

The draw for the rest of the tournament will be held on Friday, but we do know that Bodo will face either Sporting or Man City next, Newcastle will play Barcelona or Chelsea, Bayer will draw Arsenal or Bayern, and Atleti could face only Liverpool or Tottenham.

Here's all you need to know about the draw!

22:52 CET - IT'S ALL OVER IN MILAN! Bodo/Glimt have sensationally beaten Inter 2-1 on the night, 5-2 on aggregate, to progress to the Round of 16 and keep their incredible dream run alive.

Key match stats

Where do we begin? Bodo have become the first Norwegian side to ever progress to the last 16 of the UCL, and they've now beaten Inter (twice), Atletico Madrid and Man City already this season. When will the run stop? Who knows! The sky appears to be the limit for Kjetil Knutsen's side.

22:50 CET - In Germany, Bayer Leverkusen have also progressed to the last 16 after playing out a goalless draw with Olympiacos - Bayer won the tie 2-0.

22:49 CET - Newcastle have beaten Qarabag 3-2, and 9-3 on aggregate, to cruise into the round of 16. It was an entertaining match, but really, the Azeris always had far too much to do.

22:35 CET - Inter have a goal back through Alessandro Bastoni, it's now 2-1 to Bodo/Glimt, and 5-2 on aggregate. It feels like too little, too late: The hosts still need three goals in less than 15 minutes of regular time.

22:30 CET - THEY'VE DONE IT AGAIN! IT'S 2-0 TO BODO/GLIMT! Just when Inter looked to be huffing and puffing for a goal, Hakon Evjen has smashed home after being played in on a counterattack. Brilliant stuff.

At 5-1, surely that is the tie over. The fans are in dreamland, they know it: They're going to the Round of 16!

22:16 CET - BODO/GLIMT HAVE SCORED! Would you believe it, after sitting back and soaking up pressure for the entire match, the Norwegians have stolen a goal through Jens Hauge. The former AC Milan man breaks Inter hearts at the San Siro!

That puts Bodo 4-1 up in the tie, and you feel that may just put it beyond doubt with only 30 minutes to go...

22:12 CET - It's truly all happening at St. James' Park. Qarabag have now made it 3-2, even after Marko Jankovic missed a penalty.

22:07 CET - And just like that, Newcastle have restored their two-goal lead on the night, it's 3-1 now. Sven Botman has scored for the Magpies to reinstate their enormous seven-goal cushion.

22:05 CET - Qarabag have pulled a goal back against Newcastle, but the side from Baku still trail 8-2 in the tie... It's a long, long way back yet.

22:03 CET - We are back underway around the grounds. Bodo/Glimt only need to hang on for 45 more minutes to complete (another) one of the great Champions League upsets!

Elsewhere, Newcastle are all but through, and Bayer Leverkusen have one foot in the next round.

21:49 CET - Bodo are halfway there! They've made it to the break at 0-0, leaving Inter in need of two goals in the next 45 minutes.

This is going to get nervy.

21:27 CET - We're approaching the 30-minute mark, and while Inter are dominating the ball and pushing for an opener, Bodo/Glimt are holding firm thus far.

To give you an idea of the gulf between the two clubs, there are around 60,000 Inter fans in the stadium tonight, while the entire town of Bodo has a population of around 40,000. This really would be an upset for the ages.

21:15 CET - It's been an open start at the San Siro, where Inter have gone close a few times and Bodo/Glimt have almost created openings of their own.

Speaking of open, Newcastle are now 2-0 up courtesy of Joelinton and 8-1 up on aggregate. It's fair to say that tie is done...

21:04 CET - We're underway in Milan, as well as in Newcastle and Leverkusen, where the hosts are in strong positions against Qarabag and Olympiacos, especially with the Premier League side getting an early goal to make it 6-0 on aggregate.

20:50 CET - Right then, time to turn our attention from Madrid to Milan, where Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt are looking to complete what would arguably be the biggest upset in the history of Champions League knockout football.

They lead Inter, last year's finalists, 3-1 after claiming a famous win in the first leg, but holding off the Serie A leaders at the San Siro will surely be a mammoth task. However, with them also beating Atleti and Man City in the two games before this tie, write them off at your peril.

Their chances will also be hugely boosted by the fact that the hosts are without star man and captain Lautaro Martinez.

This is how the sides line up:

20:38 CET - The full-time whistle has blown on the first match of the night and confirmed Atletico Madrid's place in the last 16, with the Spanish side beating Club Brugge 4-1 on the night and 7-4 on aggregate.

Next up for them is either Liverpool or Tottenham.

20:31 CET - We have a hat-trick in the Spanish capital, with Sorloth heading in his third from a corner to rub salt in Club Brugge's wounds.

It's a very flattering scoreline for Atleti, but they won't care one bit.

20:16 CET - Sorloth makes it three! The Norwegian has bagged his second of the night, finishing off a counter-attack and surely finishing off the tie.

Club Brugge now need two goals in around 15 minutes to take this clash to extra time.

19:53 CET - Atleti are back in front! A brilliant finish from Johnny Cardoso on the edge of the box gives the hosts a 5-4 aggregate lead.

19:49 CET - We're back underway in the Spanish capital for a huge second half!

19:36 CET - We've reached the halfway stage in Madrid, and there's nothing to separate Atletico and Club Brugge after an entertaining opening period.

Alexander Sorloth's 23rd-minute strike was cancelled by Joel Ordonez, setting up a fascinating second half at the Metropolitano Stadium, with the aggregate score tied at 4-4.

19:25 CET - A huge chance for the visitors to move ahead, but Jan Oblak reacts superbly to deny Hugo Vetlesen's header in the box.

19:23 CET - Club Brugge are back on level terms, with Joel Ordonez nodding home from close range to level the tie at 4-4.

19:10 CET - Atleti have the lead! A powerful strike from Alexander Sorloth goes through the body of Simon Mignolet, and Diego Simeone's men move 4-3 ahead on aggregate.

19:02 CET - It's been a lively opening quarter-hour at the Metropolitano Stadium, with Atleti seeing a penalty appeal turned down after a clumsy challenge from Simon Mignolet on Giuliano Simeone.
