It's the final round of Group A matches at the WTA Finals today as Qinwen Zheng (22) and Jasmine Paolini (28) battle it out for a spot in the semi-finals, while there's also plenty of action on the ATP Tour in Metz and Belgrade.

22:15 CET - Yunchaokete Bu (24) has won the final match of the day by winning 6-4, 7-6 (7-1) against Jesper De Jong (24).

20:23 CET - Over in Metz and Casper Ruud's (25) struggling form continues as his week ends early in a 4-6, 4-6 defeat to home favourite Benjamin Bonzi (28).

18:55 CET - Some unfortunate news to bring you as Jessica Pegula (30) has been forced to pull out of Riyadh through injury and will be replaced by Daria Kasatkina (27).

18:30 CET - It hasn't been the best year for Cam Norrie (29) but he has a chance to end his season on a high this week in Metz. And he booked his place in the next round this evening with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 win against Luca van Assche (20).

18:04 CET - Despite playing for just pride, Elena Rybakina (25) has ended her WTA Finals campaign with an impressive, morale-boosting 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 triumph over world number one Aryna Sabalenka (26).

The Kazakh came into the tournament with only two matches under her belt since July but showed plenty of positive signs as she looks to rediscover her best form in 2025.

17:19 CET - Quentin Halys (28) and Zizou Bergs (25) are through in Metz after victories over French pair Pierre-Hugues Herbert (33) and Hugo Gaston (24) respectively.

Meanwhile, in Belgrade, Fabian Marozsan (25) has knocked out home favourite Dusan Lajovic (34), with the Hungarian coming through in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5.

16:30 CET - Olympic champion Qinwen Zheng (22) was in ruthless form at the WTA Finals this afternoon, easing past Jasmine Paolini (28) 6-1, 6-1 in just over an hour to move into the semi-finals.

14:18 CET - Qinwen Zheng (22) has taken the opening set in her decisive Group A match against Jasmine Paolini (28) in Riyadh.

14:10 CET - Denis Shapovalov (25) has progressed in Belgrade, sweeping aside fifth seed Nuno Borges (27) 6-2, 6-4, while Christopher O'Connell (30) is also through after an emphatic 6-3, 6-1 triumph against Daniel Altmaier (26).

12:53 CET - Third seed Francisco Cerundolo (26) is safely through to the quarter-finals in Belgrade after a fairly routine 6-4, 6-4 victory over Roman Safiullin (27). The Argentine will face the talented Hamad Medjedovic (21) next.

10:20 CET - It's another big day at the WTA Finals in Riyadh, with Jasmine Paolini (28) and Qinwen Zheng (22) going head-to-head at 13:30 CET for a spot in the semi-finals. 

Following that match, world number one Aryna Sabalenka (26) - who is already through to the last four - faces Elena Rybakina (25) in a dead rubber at 16:00 CET, with the Kazakh out of contention after two defeats from her opening two matches.
