23:35 CET - Some bad news for Holger Rune fans after the Danish teenager had to retire from his game against Gijs Brouwer. The Dutch outsider was a set up and 4-0 up in the second before Rune called it quits.

In Doha, Maria Sakkari and Caroline Garcia went the distance, with the Greek star taking the final set tie break 7-5.

21:21 CET - Jannik Sinner's hot form continues in Rotterdam as he saw off Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-4, 6-3 in an hour and 22 minutes. The Italian, who was the winner in Marseille last week, will now play Stan Wawrinka on Friday. Over in Buenos Aires, home favourite Francisco Cerundolo was imperious against Spaniard Jaume Munar, winning 6-1, 6-2.

19:08 CET -  Pegula got past Haddad Maia comfortably, ending the match with a 6-2, 6-2 result. The world number 4 will face the winner between Sakkari and Garcia, who play later tonight to set up the second semi-final. 

17:38 CET -  Alex De Minaur defeated Maxime Cressy to progress to the Rotterdam Open quarter-final. The Australian will face Grigor Dimitrov on Friday. 

Elsewhere, Gauff fell short of a place in the Doha Open semi-finals to Kudermetova. She is set to face Swiatek on Friday.

14:59 CET - As we gear up for the weekend's finals, two early results from Rotterdam is setting up a potentially star-studded matches. Felix Auger-Aliassime (22) was in control over Gregoire Barrere (29), beating the Frenchman 6-4, 6-3.
