The CIES Football Observatory in Switzerland have utilised statistical models to analyse the transfer value of players at 1,229 clubs in 74 leagues around the world.

Analyzing over 30,000 players, the CIES Football Observatory have rolled out an innovative new tool through which to browse their database of player values as well.

The database considers players with three or more years of their current contract remaining. It is possible to find players based on position, league, club, as well as age, globally.

The free-to-use tool can be accessed right here.

Unsurprisingly, Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior, PSG's Kylian Mbappe, Manchester City's Erling Haaland and Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham top the list in terms of estimated transfers values, all valued at over 200 million euros.

Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG) tops the table for goalkeepers, Eder Militao (Real Madrid) for centre backs, while Reece James (Chelsea) is the top-valued full-back in the database.

In the report accompanying the transfer value tool, the CIES provided an analysis of the highest-valued players per club, as well as the proportionate value of players as per their respective squads.

Bellingham, for example, holds the highest proportionate value of a player amongst the Bundesliga and indeed among all of the so-called 'top five' leagues in Europe, being worth 28 per cent of the total value of all contracted players at his club, Dortmund.

Other notable players who head the valuation table for their respective clubs are Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Pedri (Barcelona), Jamal Musiala (Bayern), Pedro (Flamengo) and Alan Varela (Boca Juniors).

You can read the full report and view the analysis here.

The CIES Football Observatory is a research group within the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES), an independent study centre located in Neuchatel, Switzerland. The CIES Football Observatory specialises in the statistical analysis of football.
