Ronaldo Nazario: "Brazil is the world football power it is because of Pelé"
Before Valladolid's match against Real Madrid, Ronaldo Nazario told DAZN how he felt about the loss of Edson Arantes do Nascimento, the great Pele.
"Sad for what happened yesterday with our legend, our O Rei, but we have to go on. Pele, for us, has been much more than a football player. All of us who have come after him have learned from him and Brazil is the world football power that it is because of him. Pelé is dead but he leaves an incredible legacy for all of us. We are very grateful. May he rest in peace, we will always have fond memories of him," he said
Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid and not often one to talk before or after his team's matches, also took part in the flash interview to express his admiration for Pele.
"Everyone has said that he is the king, the best, and I agree with all those adjectives. It is a sad day, but at the same time we are happy to have been able to enjoy him".
