Nice sign Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer
The full details of the deal have not been disclosed. However, according to various sources, Ramsey has signed a one-year contract with Nice.
Ramsey moves to the French Riviera having recently left Italian club Juventus after they terminated the former Arsenal midfielder's contract by mutual agreement.
He had been on loan at Scottish Giants Rangers for the second half of the 2021/22 season where he failed to make a signifcnat impact, making only seven appearances.
Ramsey became the youngest-ever captain of the Wales national side in 2011, aged 20, and has earned 75 international caps since.
He has long been a talismanic figure in the Welsh midfield, playing a major role in the team that made a dream run to the semi-finals of Euro 2016.
Wales will be competing in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar this November for the first time since 1958 and Ramsey will be hoping to help write another fairytale chapter in the history of Welsh football.
Wales are in Group B of the World Cup alongside historic rivals England as well as USA and Iran.
