Jordan Binnington (29) made 25 saves for his 100th career victory and 12th shutout as the St Louis Blues blanked the visiting Nashville Predators 1-0 in overtime Monday.

Brayden Schenn decided the game midway into overtime. He converted the rebound of Jordan Kyrou's shot off a 2-on-1 break as the Blues won for just the third time in 11 games.

Juuse Saros made 23 saves for the Predators, who lost their third straight game.

Rangers 4, Devils 3 (OT)

Filip Chytil scored with 2:45 remaining in overtime as host New York rallied from a pair of two-goal deficits for a victory over New Jersey, which saw its franchise-record 11-game road winning streak end.

New York won its season-high fourth straight and avenged last month's 5-3 home loss to New Jersey. K'Andre Miller finally gained possession after the Devils held the puck for virtually all of the first two minutes of overtime. Miller passed to Artemi Panarin, who sped down the left wing and quickly moved the puck to Chytil.

Chris Kreider scored late in the first before Vincent Trocheck and Kaapo Kakko tallied seven seconds apart in the second for New York's fastest two goals since 2020. Nico Hischier and Dawson Mercer scored in a span of 1:41 early in the first period for New Jersey before Jack Hughes tallied midway through the second to extend his points streak to a career-high eight games.

Penguins 2, Stars 1

Evgeni Malkin scored with 34.7 seconds left in regulation to give Pittsburgh its sixth straight win by beating visiting Dallas.

On the winner, Bryan Rust moved in on Dallas goaltender Jake Oettinger, but the goalie poke-checked the puck away. The Stars' Jason Robertson was backchecking but could not get to the puck before Malkin. From below the left hash marks, Malkin swept the puck behind Oettinger, who had been pulled out of position.

Pierre-Olivier Joseph also scored and Jason Zucker added two assists for the Pens, who are 13-2-2 in their past 17. Tristan Jarry made 26 saves to run his point streak to a career-best 11 straight starts (9-0-2). Roope Hintz scored for the Stars, who had won two straight. Oettinger made 23 saves.

Canadiens 2, Flames 1 (SO)

Kirby Dach scored the deciding goal of a shootout as Montreal earned a victory over visiting Calgary.

Trailing after the second intermission, the Canadiens equalized on Josh Anderson's goal 1:40 into the third period. Jonathan Huberdeau's power-play goal in the second period was Calgary's only tally of the game.

Jake Allen stopped 34 of 35 shots for his ninth win of the season. Jacob Markstrom stopped 37 of 38 shots in a hard-luck loss.

Senators 3, Ducks 0

Cam Talbot made 32 saves for his first shutout of the season, leading Ottawa to a win against visiting Anaheim.

It was the 28th shutout in 10 NHL seasons for Talbot, who came within 2:50 of blanking the Ducks in a 5-1 win on November 25th in Anaheim. Alex DeBrincat scored two power-play goals, Claude Giroux assisted on both and Parker Kelly also scored for the Senators, who are 4-1-1 in their past six games.

Lukas Dostal made 35 saves in his season debut for Anaheim, which fell to 0-6-2 in its past eight road games.

Wild 2, Oilers 1

Frederick Gaudreau scored the go-ahead goal in the second period and Marc-Andre Fleury made 20 saves to lead Minnesota to a win over visiting Edmonton.

Matt Boldy had a goal and an assist for the Wild, who have won two straight and reasserted their dominance over Edmonton. After Minnesota lost a seven-game winning streak over the Oilers with a 5-2 loss on Friday in Edmonton, the Wild never trailed on Monday.

Zach Hyman scored, and Stuart Skinner finished with 28 saves. Connor McDavid's bid to join Wayne Gretzky, Jari Kurri and Dave Lumley as the only members of the Oilers to score in eight straight games ended, but his first-period assist extended his point streak to nine.
