Sunday's main updates

23:22 CET - And that is where we leave you before the final weekend of the domestic season in England, Italy and Spain next weekend!

Bring it on...

23:00 CET - The Ligue 1 season is over! In a dramatic final day, Nice missed the chance to leapfrog Auxerre or Le Havre after being held to a 0-0 draw at home to Metz and head towards a relegation playoff against St Etienne

That promises to be a fascinating encounter between two huge French clubs.

Lyon and Lille both lost in underwhelming final day defeats but still qualify for the Champions League because of Marseille's dominant 3-1 win against a Rennes side who went from potential UCL qualification to being demoted to the Conference League! Marseille's victory means they leapfrogged Rennes into Europa League qualification. A brutal defeat for Rennes, then.

22:45 CET - It is advantage Lecce in the Serie A relegation battle after Lecce scored a dramatic late winner at Sassuolo to restore their slender lead over Cremeonese!

Jamie Vardy's first half goal was the difference for Cremonese, meanwhile, as they won 1-0 away at Udinese to keep their survival hopes alive heading into the final day.

That means with one game left in Serie A, just one point separates the sides!

22:02 CET - A fascinating final day in Ligue 1 has reached the halfway stage, and it is so far so good for Auxerre and Le Havre in the relegation battle, as both sides are ahead and staying up as it stands, with Nice currently still level at home to Metz.

21:35 CET - It is half-time in a big evening in the Serie A relegation zone, and so far both teams at threat of relegation are leading! Jamie Vardy got the party started tonight with a crucial goal for relegation-threatened Cremonese away at Udinese, and they remain 1-0 ahead at the break.

Lecce were one point ahead of Cremonese going into tonight, and they are also leading at the break away to Sassuolo.

21:00 CET - Well, an eventful evening in LaLiga has concluded with 10-man Levante winning a heated affair against 10-man Mallorca 2-0!

That means Levante are in pole position to stay up, whilst Mallorca slide into the relegation zone and are on the brink of relegation after Elche's crucial win at home to Getafe. Drama at the bottom of LaLiga!

That means that Mallorca and Girona are currently set to join Real Oviedo in the second division.

20:30 CET - West Ham are on the brink of relegation after failing to turn up against Newcastle when they needed a big performance more than ever!

Spurs know that a win against Chelsea midweek will be the final nail in the Hammers' coffin... Newcastle United were just too good today, but as for West Ham? Abysmal and Championship bound.

20:20 CET - There are also three teams battling it out for two Champions League spots with Lille (who host relegation-threatened Auxerre) currently in third, Lyon a point behind in fourth and Rennes two points behind in fifth.

Check out the team news from those three clashes below:

20:10 CET - Tonight is also the final day in Ligue 1, and (aside from the title race) it is all to play for!

And at the same time, 18th-placed Cremonese travel to Udinese knowing that defeat could see them relegated if Lecce also win.

19:50 CET - It is half-time across the grounds in LaLiga and in the battle for survival, it is going the way of Levante and Elche so far and away from Mallorca and Girona, who would both join Real Oviedo in LaLiga 2 next season if the campaign ended now.

An early strike by Vinicius Junior means Real Madrid are also ahead at the break in Seville.

19:38 CET - There has been a potentially crucial goal in LaLiga, and the relegation battle as Levante have taken the lead against fellow struggler Mallorca! That incredible sees them move from 19th and in the relegation zone, to 15th in the league.

19:20 CET - Newcastle go into the break 2-0 ahead and in pole position in the Premier League! West Ham look to be in big trouble as their survival chances will take a huge dent if they fail to turn this around in a crucial second half for the club.

19:12 CET - Celta Vigo have scored the first 'significant' goal of the day in LaLiga to (for now at least) cement their place in the Europa League next season, and it came after just four minutes away at Athletic Club.

18:50 CET - Newcastle United have got off to a flying start against West Ham! The Toon Army were unlucky not to be awarded a penalty minutes earlier, but have flown into a 2-0 lead now!

Nick Woltemdade was in desperate need of a goal after a difficult opening campaign, and he found it to put his side ahead with a collected finish from close range.

The hosts doubled their lead after William Osula finished off a brilliant sweeping move to heighten West Ham's peril.

18:40 CET - Team news is also in from Seville as Real Madrid take on Sevilla in their penultimate game of an underwhelming 2025/26 season for both clubs.

18:22 CET - Ready for some LaLiga team news as a fascinating relegation-battle edges closer to a conclusion?

With just one point separating 15th and 19th, it is all to play for in the most open relegation battle in Europe's top five leagues.

The headline match this evening comes from 18th-placed Mallorca away to 19th-placed Levante, with the sides locked on 39 points. Victory for either side would be a huge boost in their battle for survival.

Brentford and Everton also dropped points, the latter to Sunderland, who are back in the hunt following that 3-1 victory at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Elsewhere, Wolves and Fulham shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Catch up with all of it right here, and how it impacts the table.

17:49 CET - Brentford hit back once more against Crystal Palace, and it's that man again - Dango Ouattara.

It could prove to be a valuable point - if they can hold on - as they will sit on 52 points heading into the final, one clear of Sunderland in ninth. Remember, eighth this season is at least guaranteed Europa Conference League football next season.

Even more valuable now that Sunderland have added a third against Everton through Wilson Isidor to effectively kill the game off.

17:43 CET - Sunderland hit the front on Merseyside! After assisting the first goal, Enzo Le Fee gets on the scoresheet to put the Black Cats 2-1 up in the 81st minute. Everton, as it stands, will fall to 11th in the standings, with their opponents today jumping them into ninth and kick-starting their own European dream.

17:30 CET - A consequential goal at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, where Sunderland have equalised against Everton to hamper the home side's hopes of European football next season. Dutch striker, Brian Brobbey, has their first of the game, but can someone find a winner?

We are also just an hour away from the biggest game of the day in the Premier League.

At 18:30 CET, West Ham United travel to Newcastle knowing a win will take them out of the bottom three.

Mateus Fernandes, rumoured to be on the move in the summer, starts alongside Tomas Soucek in midfield for the Hammers, whilst Nick Woltemade, subject to his own transfer talk in the week, gets the nod behind lone striker William Osula.

17:14 CET - It's a first for Adam Wharton! In his third season with Crystal Palace, he has his maiden goal for the club, putting them 2-1 up against Brentford.

16:50 CET - We've reached the interval in each of the four Premier League games, and only Everton are ahead, thanks to that late goal from Merlin Rohl.

Elsewhere, already-relegated Wolves did take the lead against Fulham through Mateus Mane, only for Fulham to level just before half-time through an Antonee Robinson penalty. Leeds and Brighton are goalless at the break.

16:44 CET - Brentford level just before the break! Just three points off a potential Champions League spot, the Bees need to win the last their last two games, you feel, to have any shot of making it, and they have equalised against Crystal Palace to renew that hope. Burkina Faso forward Dango Ouattara has the goal, his sixth of the Premier League campaign.

Everton are another side with European ambitions and they have a 1-0 lead over Sunderland in the 44th minute thanks to a strike from Merlin Rohl.

16:22 CET - Half an hour to go in Milan, where Serie A champions are continuing their coronation against Verona. The hosts are 1-0 to the good thanks to a goal early in the second half after an own goal from Andrias Edmundsson

16:07 CET - Four Premier League games have kicked off at 16:00 CET, with three likely to have implications for European football next season.

One of those is at Brentford, where the Bees are taking on Crystal Palace, and the Eagles have an early lead thanks to a spot-kick goal from Ismaila Sarr.

15:30 CET - Manchester United have won their final home game of the season 3-2 against Nottingham Forest, with Bruno Fernandes getting the assist he needed to go level with Kevin De Bruyne and Thierry Henry's Premier League assist record (20).

There was a controversial moment with Matheus Cunha's goal, as it looked like Bryan Mbeumo had clearly handled the ball in the build-up. However, they won't care one bit.

Elliot Anderson was excellent for the away side, getting both assists for his team.

There are a handful of Premier League games coming up in half an hour, and you can follow them here!

Milan and Roma occupy the other Champions League places, Como sit in fifth, while Juventus have dropped to sixth. Disaster for Juve, and no weekend is going to be massive in the battle for Europe.

13:47 CET - Juventus are in big, big trouble now! After seeing their equaliser ruled out following a VAR intervention, Fiorentina have now gone 2-0 up, leaving Juve's Champions League hopes in peril.

13:30 CET - Roma have doubled their lead against Lazio, with Gianluca Mancini bagging his second of the game, and they are now on course for a massive victory.

13:23 CET - Como have now gone 1-0 up against Parma, moving themselves up to fifth in the table. Juventus, who are still behind against Fiorentina, drop into sixth.

13:14 CET - Christopher Nkunku has given AC Milan the lead from the penalty spot away at Genoa, moving themselves into the Champions League spots. As a result, Juve are currently out of the top four, as they are trailing Fiorentina!

12:43 CET - Gianluca Mancini has put Roma 1-0 up against rivals Lazio in the Derby della Capitale, and as a result, they have leapfrogged Juventus into third in the table. The race for Champions League football takes another turn.

10:30 CET - Before we get started with the early Serie A games, let's bring you some breaking news from Chelsea.

The Blues have appointed former Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid boss, Xabi Alonso, as their new manager from July 1st on a four-year deal.

08:20 CET - Welcome back to Flashscore's Football Tracker for what promises to be an intriguing, if slightly chaotic, day of European football.

It is the final day of the Ligue 1 season, and the biggest battle is at the bottom of the table, where Nice and Auxerre are staring the relegation playoff in the face.

A loss for either side today could see them enter that dreaded spot, but the onus is on Nice to pick up a win, given their worst goal difference. The pair start the day on 31 points, but the team from the French Riviera have the easier game - at home to already relegated Metz. Le Havre can also be dragged in. They sit on 32 points, so they will be following the action anxiously.

Before that, though, there is the small matter of the fight for Europe in Italy, whilst the Premier League returns from 13:30 CET.

17:10 CET - If they weren't up against it already, St. Pauli are surely down now as Wolfsburg race into a 3-1 lead! A heartbreaking end to their Bundesliga journey (at least for now).

Although it isn't really today that their fate was decided, but the course of a long season where they haven't been able to gain consistent results.

16:57 CET - St. Pauli briefly had some hope of turning things around in their battle for survival as the hosts equalised through Abdoulie Ceesay, but it was short-lived as keeper Nikola Vasilj scored an own goal to hand the advantage back to Wolfsburg.

16:50 CET - The first half of the 2025/26 FA Cup final has come to an end, and Chelsea will be the happier of the two sides so far. Can they hold on?

16:00 CET - Underway at Wembley for the FA Cup final - who will be this year's champion, Chelsea or Manchester City?

15:58 CET - In the race for Conference League football out of the Bundesliga, Freiburg are looking odds-on to grab the spot, having taken a two-goal lead over RB Leipzig, whilst Augsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt find themselves 1-0 down after 30 minutes played.

15:20 CET - CELTIC HAVE THEIR GOAL!

It's an agonising wait with VAR, but Daizen Maeda, their star striker, pounces on a cross to score and send Celtic Park into pandemonium.

Do Hearts have anything left to avoid the worst of heartbreaks?

15:11 CET - Just more than 10 minutes to go at Celtic Park and, as it stands, Hearts are going to win the title with the score at 1-1. Arne Engels, already a Celtic goalscorer today, lines up a free-kick from close range, but he puts the effort wide. The tension is palpable across the stadium, and it ratchets up further as Kelechi Iheanacho raps the post.

Are Celtic on the march?

15:00 CET - Over to Wembley as we check in ahead of the FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola is going for title number 20 of his reign at the Etihad, and has named his strongest XI, with James Trafford - the cup goalkeeper - in for Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Meanwhile, this is Callum McFarlane's first final as a coach, and he has also gone strong as the Blues look to secure European football next season.

13:30 CET - Here we go, then. Who will win the Scottish Premiership - Celtic or Hearts? The stakes are so very high, and we are just 90 minutes away from knowing who it will be.

12:25 CET - Team news is in from Celtic Park. League leaders Hearts make three changes from their midweek win over Falkirk, with Claudio Braga, Blair Spittal and Frankie Kent all dropping to the bench as Stephen Kingsley, Jordi Altena and Pierre Kabore come in.

The biggest surprise of the omitted trio is certainly Braga. The Scottish Premiership Player of the Year has not missed a start since December, suggesting Hearts may play more defensively this afternoon.

For Celtic, they are unchanged from Wednesday night.

12:00 CET - Before the final day in the Bundesliga, there is the small matter of a title decider in Scotland.

Hearts have had a fairytale run, akin to Leicester City's Premier League win, this season, and go into the final day knowing they must avoid defeat to be crowned Scottish Premiership champions.

That hurdle, though, could not be tougher as they take on Celtic, at Celtic Park, their only rival for the title.

Controversy has plagued the run-up to this massive clash, after Celtic were given a penalty for a handball to win their midweek game against Motherwell 3-2 and take it to the final day.

The stakes could not be higher for the Edinburgh side. Their last league victory came back in 1960, and if they do the business today, they will be the first side in 41 years to break up the duopoly of the big Glasgow sides.

Before we get team news soon, Flashscore's Pavel Kriklan spoke to former Hearts player, Roman Bednar, about their incredible season, and what it will mean if the Jam Tarts can go all the way today.

Read that interview now.

11:30 CET - It's that time of year again - after eight months of action, we have reached the climax of the Bundesliga.

Despite Bayern wrapping up the title weeks ago, there is still plenty to play for on the final day of the season.

Here's what to look out for from 15:30 CET, across the nine games.

The biggest storylines are at the bottom of the table. Two of Heidenheim, St Pauli or Wolfsburg will be relegated today, with the latter two playing a 'winner takes all' clash.

If either St Pauli or Wolfsburg win, they will secure the relegation playoff spot, whilst the other will be doomed to the 2. Bundesliga.

Bundesliga's relegation zone
Bundesliga's relegation zoneFlashscore

All three teams go into the final day on 26 points, meaning goal difference is likely to play a part. St Pauli, who are at the bottom of the table, have -29, as do Heidenheim, whilst Wolfsburg are three better.

Crucially, if St Pauli and Wolfsburg draw at the Millerntor today, then a win for Heidenheim at home to Mainz will see them avoid automatic relegation.

Elsewhere in the Bundesliga, Hoffenheim, Stuttgart, and Bayer Leverkusen are battling it out for the final Champions League spot.

Stuttgart, currently occupying fourth in the league, take on Eintracht Frankfurt, who can also slip into Conference League qualification with a win, whilst Hoffenheim travel to Borussia Monchengladbach, who have very little to play for, other than pride, today.

Leverkusen are three points behind both sides, so will need luck on their side to sneak into fourth.

Bundesliga table

Alongside Frankfurt in the battle for Conference League football next year is Augsburg and Freiburg. The latter currently holds a one-point advantage over the two chasers, but they have a tricky test in the shape of RB Leipzig.

It's all set to be a classic day in the Bundesliga!
