22:45 CET - Inter put on a second half show to dispatch Roma 5-2 and move a step closer to the Serie A title. The stars of the show were Inter's strike partnership of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram as the French forward set up the Argentine for two goals and scored one himself in a world-class display by the brilliant duo.

21:40 CET - Inter were briefly pegged back after taking an early lead against AS Roma, but quickly responded just before the break through experienced Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu to take a 2-1 lead into half-time.

20:40 CET - Despite a dramatic comeback by West Ham in normal time, the home side couldn't find a winner in extra-time and Leeds United made them pay on penalties to book their place in the FA Cup semi-final, where Southampton await at Wembley.
It might have taken a lot longer than it initially looked like it would but Leeds have got the job done!

Marseille sit in fourth and have the chance at home against Monaco to move up to third in the league but their visitors are also in the race for Europe and also need three points to help their chances.
The big team news is that Paul Pogba is back amongst the Monaco substitutes after his latest lengthy injury setback.
Check out the lineups below:
19:40 CET - Incredible late drama at the London Stadium and we head to extra-time in the final FA Cup quarter-final! West Ham looked down and out heading into added time at the end of the match. Leeds were 2-0 up and in cruise control but a 93rd-minute goal by Mateus Fernandes was followed by a 96th-minute equaliser by Axel Disasi to send the game to an extra 30 minutes! That is why we love the FA Cup, drama at its finest.

19:25 CET - From the claws of defeat, FC Koln have rescued a valuable point in their battle for Bundesliga survival and against high-flying European hopefuls Eintracht Frankfurt no less!
Koln looked down and out after a quickfire double by Frankfurt earlier in the second half but showed brilliant resilience to score two late goals of their own to earn a vital point on the road.

18:58 CET - Make that 2-0 to Eintracht Frankfurt. They have blown Koln away with a quick-fire double in three minutes - Arnaud Kalimuendo has the second.
18:55 CET - Eintracht Frankfurt are ahead against Koln! Midway through the second half, Jonathan Burkhardt has his 10th of the season with a tap-in after great work from Fares Chaibi.

What can the Hammers muster in the second half?

18:16 CET - Celta Vigo have ended a run of three without a win with a 3-2 victory over Valencia.
All their goals came in the second half, with substitutes Williot Swedberg and Fernando Lopez both making an impact by getting on the scoresheet.

17:23 CET - All over between Union Berlin and St Pauli, with neither side happy with a point as it finishes 1-1.
Andrej Ilic got the leveller for the hosts in the 52nd minute, to cancel out St Pauli's first-half strike.

17:15 CET - Three more Ligue 1 games to get your teeth into this evening, all kicking off right now. The pick of the bunch is a relegation six-pointer between Nantes and Metz, with the loser looking set for the trapdoor.
17:02 CET - Pisa and Torino headline Serie A this evening with the hosts needing points in their quest for safety.
Two wins all season has seen them cut adrift at the bottom of the table, and they need to start picking up points promptly.
Can they do that today against the side from Turin?

Before that, Bologna have overcome Cremonese 2-1 with both sides picking up red cards late on.
16:53 CET - The poor form continues for Lyon, as they are held to a goalless draw by Angers. The slide has seen them struggle in front of goal, including today, where they only recorded two shots on target in the match.

16:46 CET - Over to the last FA Cup quarter-final of the round, as West Ham and Leeds United do battle for the last semi-final spot.

With so much riding on it, both managers have opted for strong lineups, as both teams look to put their struggling league campaigns to one side in search of glory.

16:27 CET - PSV are Eredivisie champions! They have clinched the title for a third year in a row and for the 27th time in their history after Feyenoord dropped points against Volendam.
16:18 CET - We've reached the interval in the Bundesliga clash between Union Berlin and St Pauli, and it's the relegation-threatened visitors who hold a slender lead.
The goal came in the 25th minute, with Mathias Pereira Lage getting on the scoresheet.

15:55 CET - What a win for Getafe! They have outlasted Athletic Club at home, beating a fellow European contender 2-0 at home.
Martin Satriano was the star of the show, assisting the first goal before settling the game late on with one of his own.

15:46 CET - A great first half from Bologna in the first Serie A game of the day sees them 2-0 up away to Cremonese.
Joao Mario opened the scoring in the third minute, with Jonathan Rowe doubling the lead 13 minutes later.

15:30 CET - It's time to begin the day's play in the Bundesliga with Union Berlin hosting St Pauli in what is a big game at the bottom of the league.
St Pauli are one point from safety, and have lost their last two games.
14:50 CET - It is half time in LaLiga, with Getafe holding a 1-0 lead over Athletic Club in a vital clash for both sides for European football.

14:08 CET - Champions League-chasing Lyon pay a visit to Angers in just under an hour, knowing that a win will see them move level on points with Lille in third.

12:52 CET - It's been a sleepy Sunday across the footballing world so far, but that won't last much longer as our first team news is in for the day.
Getafe host Athletic Club on the outskirts of the Spanish capital, looking to keep up their chase for European football next season.
Nico Williams is back on the bench for the Basque side as he returns from a groin injury, whilst Getafe's top scorer, Mauro Arambarri, starts.
Follow the game from 14:00 CET here.

07:02 CET - As we get set for another day of action across the continent, let's take a quick trip to the US, where Inter Miami opened their new Nu Stadium late last night against Austin FC.
Of course, the first goal scored in their new venue was by none other than Lionel Messi, but they weren't able to christen it with a win in a 2-2 draw.
Saturday, April 4th
23:20 CET - Finally in Ligue 1, Lille caused an upset against surprise title challengers Lens in the Derby du Nord. The impressive Lille won 3-0 to boost their European hopes and dent Lens' title hopes.
23:10 CET - Over in LaLiga and a huge late goal by late substitute Robert Lewandowski turned a draw into victory for Barcelona against rivals Atletico Madrid!
That is a huge goal in the title race after Real Madrid's shock defeat earlier, as Barcelona are now seven points clear at the top of LaLiga.

22:54 CET - Arsenal are OUT of the FA Cup! Championship Southampton have stunned Arsenal to claim one of the great wins in the club's history and secure a place in the semi-finals! Southampton were the more clinical side on the day, and it was a classy finish by the on-fire Shea Charles to win the game late on in front of an electric St Mary's!
Southampton are going to Wembley...
Another major blow for Arsenal, meanwhile, who have lost two big cup ties in their last two matches. If the EFL Cup final defeat was a setback, then tonight's defeat against a Championship side is a serious wake-up call for a club with the potential to capitulate.

22:25 CET - A vital goal for Arsenal! The Gunners are back in this FA Cup tie after a lovely worked move was finished off by substitute Viktor Gyokeres. The Swedish striker has had a memorable fortnight after playing a critical role in helping his nation qualify for the World Cup during the international break.
Back in Arsenal colours and he opened up his body brilliantly to finish off a smart Kai Havertz pullback.
21:50 CET - A fascinating first half in Madrid comes to a close and it is 1-1 at the break after two goals late in the half. First the hosts took the lead through in-form winger Giuliano Simeone before Marcus Rashford equalised in the 43rd minute in the biggest goal the England forward has scored in Spain.
The half took a disastrous turn for the hosts in first half added time, however, as Nicolas Gonzalez was sent off with a straight red. It will be a long second half now for the home side against what is such a dangerous Barcelona side.

21:40 CET - Southampton have taken a shock lead against Arsenal in the FA Cup, and you can't say it isn't a deserved one!
Ross Stewart finished off a slick Saints move with a ruthless strike into the bottom corner with unstoppable venom. Southampton had already come the closest to taking the lead, and Arsenal have looked vulnerable at the back.
The Gunners need to wake up and fast if they want to stay in the FA Cup.
20:55 CET - The final match of the weekend is a crucial one in Ligue as title hopefuls Lens travel to local rivals Lille in a must-win game after PSG's dominant three points yesterday.
That match just got underway!
20:35 CET - Two goals deep into added time by Borussia Dortmund mean Stuttgart fail to retake third place in the Bundesliga.
One of the surprise packages of the season, Stuttgart were minutes away from a valuable draw against second-place and German giants Dortmund. Super-subs Karim Adeyemi and Julian Brandt scored the two goals in the 94th and 96th minutes to make the difference on the bench and silence the home crowd.

20:15 CET - Whilst Chelsea were comfortable at half-time and already all but three, they really turned on the heat in a ruthless and deadly second half display, which saw them score a further four goals to move completely out of sight.
That win books their place in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley - a professional day's work by Liam Rosenior's side.

19:58 CET - Lineups are also just in for the final FA Cup quarter-final of the evening as Championship promotion hopefuls Southampton host Premier League leaders Arsenal.
The big team news is that 16-year-old sensation Max Dowman starts for the visitors in what is a great chance for the youngster.
19:55 CET - Team news is in for a massive game at the top of LaLiga this evening as league leaders Barcelona travel to arch-rivals Atletico Madrid. It is a big opportunity for Hansi Flick's side after Real's shock defeat earlier.
Both sides have predictably gone strong, although surprisingly, Diego Simeone has left Julian Alvarez and Ademola Lookman on the bench.
Check out the lineups for that clash below:

19:30 CET - Stuttgart have work to do to get a crucial victory in their hunt for Champions League qualification as it remains 0-0 between them and Borussia Dortmund at half-time in the Bundesliga. The home side are on top and pressing for that crucial opening goal after dominating possession and taking eight shots to Dortmund's two.
No clear-cut chances yet, but they will surely come if the game continues in this manner, and then it will be up to Stuttgart's forwards to put one away...

19:03 CET - Game, set and match, you feel, at Stamford Bridge. Malo Gusto's shot is parried into the path of Cole Palmer, whose shot is deflected off of Port Vale defender Jordan Gabriel and into the net. If you were hoping for a cup shock here, you may have to look elsewhere...
Half-time in London, Chelsea are three to the good against the League One outfit.

18:54 CET - Strasbourg are making great strides under Gary O'Neil, and are now 10 unbeaten across all competitions after a 3-1 win over Nice.
All of their goals came in the first half through Martial Godo, Julio Enciso and Samir El Mourabet. The visitors did get a consolation back when Antoine Mendy netted late on, but it was not enough to stave off defeat.

18:41 CET - It's been plain sailing for a strong Chelsea side against Port Vale so far in the FA Cup quarter-final. The Blues find themselves 2-0 up midway through the first half. After Jorrel Hato's early opener, Joao Pedro composes himself to slot home from close range to double the lead.
18:20 CET - A dramatic late winner by Mallorca has dealt a killer blow to Real Madrid in their LaLiga title challenge! That gives Barcelona a great chance later this evening to move seven points clear at the top of the standings.
That could be a fatal defeat for Alavaro Arbeloa's side...

18:00 CET - Next up in the Bundesliga this evening is a significant match in the race for Europe as Champions League hopefuls and third-placed Stuttgart host Borussia Dortmund.
Team news is now in for that clash:

17:45 CET - Bayern Munich have done the unlikely in the Bundesliga! The German champions and league leaders were 2-0 down and in big trouble with 80 minutes played. However, a goal and an assist by teenage superstar Lennart Karl and a brace by Tom Bischof turned the game on its head in the last 10 minutes plus stoppage time.
It was the teenager Karl who scored the winning goal in the 99th minute to sink the Freiburg fans, who just 20 minutes earlier thought their side were heading towards a famous victory over Bayern Munich. Heartbreak for Freiburg.
For Vincent Kompany's side, however, the resilience and quality to turn the game on its head is further proof of why they are the team to beat domestically and in Europe.

17:32 CET - Whilst we wait for a stunning comeback from Bayern Munich to reach its conclusion, let's bring you the other results in the Bundesliga this afternoon:

The standout match by a long way comes from Bayer Leverkusen's nine-goal thriller against Wolfsburg, winning 6-3!

17:20 CET - Team news is in for the second match of the FA Cup quarter-finals as Premier League giants Chelsea host Port Vale who are currently bottom of League 1.

17:10 CET - It has not been going to plan so far for Alvaro Arbeola's Real Madrid as they look to put pressure on title rivals Barcelona ahead of the Catalans' difficult clash against Real's city rivals Atletico later.
Mallorca lead 1-0 at the halfway stage, making Arbeola's half-time team talk a vital one as he looks to inspire a team looking anything but so far. Dropping three crucial points in the LaLiga title race at this stage of the season would not be good, but can they turn defeat into victory in the second half?

16:30 CET - Team news is in for an important game in Ligue 1 as European hopefuls Strasbourg host relegation-threatened Nice from 17:00 CET. Check out the lineups for that clash below:
Follow all the Ligue 1 action on Saturday here.

16:19 CET - All action in the Bundesliga as ever, and despite being goalless at the break, both Freiburg and Bayern will wonder how. On his return to the team, Manuel Neuer has made two excellent saves to keep it all square, whilst chances have been spurned at the other end too.
Elsewhere, Wolfsburg are 3-2 up against Bayer Leverkusen in a wild first half, which has seen two penalties and a brace from Alex Grimaldo.
Both RB Leipzig and Augsburg are 1-0 up at the interval.
Follow all the Bundesliga action as it happens with us here.

15:57 CET - Real Sociedad are up to sixth in LaLiga after a comfortable 2-0 victory over relegation-threatened Levante.
Jon Martin's goal in the first half, coupled with Brais Mendez's second-half effort, saw them pick up all three points.
Read the report from Anoeta here.

15:34 CET - All over at the Etihad, and it's about as comprehensive as it can get for Manchester City, beating Liverpool 4-0 to progress into the FA Cup semi-finals.
Erling Haaland was the star of the show, scoring a hat-trick in the rout.

15:10 CET - Over in LaLiga, the second half between Real Sociedad and Levante has just begun.
The hosts lead 1-0 through Jon Martin, who netted on the half-hour mark.
Soon after the end of that game, Real Madrid are in action away to Mallorca, looking to put the pressure on Barcelona ahead of their tricky encounter tonight.
Twenty-two-year-old Manuel Angel Moran Ibanez starts his first-ever game for Los Blancos on the right wing, whilst Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham are only fit enough for the bench.
Follow the contest from 16:15 CET here.

15:08 CET - When it rains, it pours... Offered a lifeline from the penalty spot, Mohamed Salah - fresh off announcing his departure from Liverpool in the summer - steps up to see his penalty simply saved by James Trafford.
15:01 CET - It's been a disastrous day for Liverpool and Arne Slot, and it just gets worse, as Erling Haaland scores his third of the game with a tap-in that hits the underside of the bar. City fans are starting the 'Poznan' as the travelling support starts to make their way to the exit.

14:53 CET - Tie over at the Etihad? A Liverpool throw-in deep in their own half breaks to Manchester City, and Rayan Cherki threads in Antoine Semenyo to chip the keeper and make it 3-0 to the Citizens. Still 40 minutes to go, but this feels like a task too hard for the visitors.
14:37 CET - Over to the Bundesliga, which returns this afternoon from the international break, as Bayern Munich look to move one step closer to the title as they travel to Freiburg from 15:30 CET.
They have not lost away to today's opponents in a decade, but they will be without Harry Kane, who misses through injury. In his place comes Serge Gnabry to lead the line, whilst they welcome back Manuel Neuer to the starting XI.

In total, there are six afternoon games in Germany's top flight today - follow it all right here.
14:32 CET - He might be back, you know. It's been a lean run for Erling Haaland in recent months, but he has found that golden touch again, heading in an Antoine Semenyo cross with authority, and doubling Manchester City's lead over Liverpool at half-time.
14:23 CET - First blood to Manchester City! After Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk blatantly fouls Nico O'Reilly in the box to give away a penalty, Erling Haaland does the business from the spot to give his side the lead.
14:00 CET - It's been a breathless opening 15 minutes in the FA Cup quarter-final between Manchester City and Liverpool, with the biggest chance falling to Mohamed Salah, but he is foiled at the last second by an Abdukodir Khusanov challenge.
Elsewhere, LaLiga has four games today, with the first pitting Levante against Real Sociedad in the Basque Country.

12:58 CET - The line-ups are in ahead of the FA Cup clash between Manchester City and Liverpool, and as expected, both sides go full strength as they eye a spot in the semi-finals at Wembley.

12:19 CET - As we await team news from the Etihad Stadium to start the day's action, let's bring you some news from another Premier League outfit.
Newcastle United full-back Kieran Trippier has announced this afternoon that he will be departing the club at the end of the season.
The England international, who is 35, has made 157 appearances for the club since moving in 2022.
08:00 CET - Before we get stuck into the day's drama, here's a recap of what happened across the top leagues on Friday evening:
PSG extended their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to put pressure on Lens in the Derby de Nord later this evening. It was an Ousmane Dembele masterclass that got the job done for the Parisians as they beat Toulouse 3-1 at home.
In the other match on Friday night, Randy Nteka came off the bench to score a late winner for Rayo Vallecano, who subsequently dealt a killer blow to Elche's survival hopes.
