It's not yet time to turn our attention to the small matter of a World Cup, though, with the Champions League and Conference League still to come in the next week. We'll be providing live coverage of both, so see you then!
23:41 CET - Juventus' season has ended with a whimper. Not only have they missed out on Champions League football, but they haven't even been able to beat local rivals Torino to secure fifth, with the hosts getting an 84th-minute equaliser to draw 2-2.
22:58 CET - Villarreal have ended a season to remember in style, romping to a 5-1 over Atletico Madrid to beat Diego Simeone's side to third in LaLiga.

22:52 CET - Roma and Como will be playing Champions League football next season!
Roma secured third with a 2-0 win over Verona, and will play in Europe's flagship competition for the first time since 2019.
As for Como, this will go down as perhaps the greatest night in their history. They'd never played European football before this season, but will compete in the Champions League in the next one. What an incredible achievement from manager Cesc Fabregas and his players!
At the bottom of Serie A, Jamie Vardy's Cremonese become the third team to go down, with Lecce avoiding the drop.
Juve can finish level on points with them with a win, but would still finish below them due to the H2H results.
22:12 CET - Things are looking good for Roma as we enter the last 30 minutes of the game, with Donyell Malen just giving them the lead and Verona down to 10 men.
What's more, AC Milan are now 2-1 down, which leaves the club from the capital and Como in third and fourth.
21:56 CET - The fight for third is all but over in the final match of the LaLiga season, with Villarreal producing a stunning first-half to lead Atletico Madrid 4-1 at the break.
21:41 CET - We're at the halfway point in four of tonight's Serie A matches, and thanks to an opening goal from Jesus Rodriguez, Como are currently level on points with AC Milan and Roma, outside of the top four only because of the H2H results between the three sides. Roma and Milan are both level, with their fates hanging in the balance.
Juventus' match with Torino still hasn't started, but looks set to do so imminently.
21:17 CET - There's been a huge upset in Portugal, where second-tier side Torreense have beaten Sporting to win the Taca de Portugal and seal Europa League qualification.
20:56 CET - AC Milan and Lecce have made dream starts, taking leads within the first 10 minutes.
In Turin, the action has yet to get underway, with the start of the match being delayed due to a reported fight between fans that led to a Juventus fan being taken to hospital with a serious head injury.
20:30 CET - It's time to turn our attention away from England and towards Italy, with the last matches of the Serie A season about to kick off.
The fight for Champions League qualification takes centre stage, with AC Milan, Roma, Como and Juventus all battling to take the final two spots in the top four.

AC Milan and Roma currently occupy those spots and have the luxury of facing opponents with nothing to play for in their final games, while Juventus will go up against local rivals Torino in a derby that's never easy and Como will face a Cremonese side that need to avoid defeat to stand a chance of leapfrogging Lecce and staying up.
Lecce, meanwhile, host Genoa knowing that a win will keep them safe whatever happens.
Already today, Parma defeated Sassuolo 1-0 before Napoli also won 1-0, against Udinese, to wrap their season.

19:09 CET - Spurs have done it; they've hung on to beat Everton 1-0 to stay up, and as a result, West Ham are relegated from the Premier League!

Champions Arsenal capped off their season with a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace, while Pep Guardiola's incredible 10-year reign at Man City has ended with a 2-1 loss at home to Aston Villa.

18:57 CET - West Ham have thrashed Leeds 3-0, with Callum Wilson adding a late third to seal it.
However, the Hammers face an anxious wait now with Spurs leading Everton 1-0 and almost 10 minutes left... As it stands, Nuno Espirito Santo and his side are going down.

18:42 CET - Make that 2-0 to West Ham, as Jarrod Bowen rifles into the far left corner after being sent through down the right flank. But, it all might mean nothing for the Hammers if Spurs hang on...

18:29 CET - West Ham aren't finished just yet! Taty Castellanos has headed in from a corner to give the Hammers a 1-0 lead over Leeds. As it stands, they are still on their way down, as they need Spurs to lose, but there is at least hope, and time.

18:20 CET - Well, Liverpool fans haven't had the farewell goal from departing legend Mohamed Salah yet, but the Egyptian has notched an assist in setting up Curtis Jones, who put the Reds 1-0 up against Brentford.

18:10 CET - The Premier League's final fixtures are back underway for their second halves, and champions Arsenal have scored early on after the break to take a 2-0 lead over Crystal Palace.
The Gunners fans are certainly having some fun in the sun now; it's a day to celebrate and enjoy for them.

17:44 CET - There's been a huge moment for Spurs just before the break, with Joao Palhinha poking the ball over the line after rattling the post with a header. That's Tottenham 1-0 up against Everton, and as it stands, that means they are safe!

17:36 CET - Manchester United have taken the lead over their hosts Brighton, with Patrick Dorgu putting them 1-0 up.
However, perhaps of more note, Bruno Fernandes has notched another assist to make it 21 for the season, setting a new record for a single Premier League campaign!
Just yesterday, the Portuguese midfielder was named the Player of the Season by the league, too.
17:24 CET - Although there isn't much on the line for Manchester City today, it is Pep Guardiola's last match in charge of the club, and that is its own huge occasion.
City are hosting Aston Villa, and Antoine Semenyo has just fired them into a 1-0 lead - his seventh Premier League goal since joining the Cityzens in January.

17:00 CET - The final matches of the Premier League season are just getting underway.
Follow every kick of any of the matches here!
16:00 CET - Away from the relegation battle, there is the not-so-small matter of the European places at stake in the Premier League as well. For Liverpool, a win or draw against Brentford today would clinch Champions League football.
There's even more going on for the Reds, though, with the club also bidding farewell to legends Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson, both of whom start this afternoon at Anfield.

15:55 CET - We are getting close to kick-off time in England for the final round of the Premier League season! Most eyes will be on London this afternoon, with Tottenham and West Ham both hosting matches and fighting for the top-tier survival.
The picture is pretty simple: if Spurs match or better the Hammers' result, they'll stay up, but if they lose and West Ham win, it's goodnight Tottenham. Check out how both sides will line up for their matches below:

13:45 CET - Over in Italy, all eyes are on the fight for Champions League qualification, with AC Milan, Roma, Como and Juventus battling to take the final two spots in the top four.
Those games will kick off at 20:45 CET.

13:30 CET - Hello and welcome to Flashscore's live coverage of the final day of the Premier League and Serie A seasons!
The big question heading into today's action is, of course, whether or not Tottenham will become perhaps the biggest club in Premier League history to be relegated to England's second tier.
They host Everton knowing that a draw will be enough for them to avoid such a fate, but if they lose and West Ham beat Leeds, they'll be playing Championship football next season.
Check out our preview of Tottenham's clash here, and West Ham's clash here - both kick off at 17:00, along with the rest of the Premier League games.
Saturday, May 23rd
23:22 CET - That's that for a day that has seen a side that finished towards the very top of LaLiga just two years ago get relegated, and the big question remaining this weekend is: will Tottenham suffer the same fate as Girona?
We'll find out tomorrow afternoon, with the final day of the Premier League season kicking off at 17:00 CET. Will Spurs get the point they need to survive at Everton, or will West Ham beat Leeds and send the North London giants down? We'll have the answers right here, so join us then!
23:12 CET - At the other end of LaLiga, champions Barcelona suffered a final-day defeat to Valencia while Real Madrid beat Athletic Club 4-2 in two matches of little consequence.
More importantly, Celta Vigo and Getafe both won to secure Europa League and Conference League football respectively, just ahead of Rayo Vallecano.

23:02 CET - There was no late drama to add to an incredibly dramatic relegation battle, which means that Mallorca and Girona have been relegated from LaLiga.
There were just two points between 13th and 19th at the end, and none between 16th and 18th. The margins couldn't have been finer, and for Mallorca and Girona, the outcome couldn't have been worse. They will play second-tier football next season.

22:35 CET - Things are really heating up now. Osasuna and Levante have both fallen behind, and are now only above 18th-placed Mallorca by virtue of the H2H results between the three clubs.
22:17 CET - Girona aren't done yet. Arnau Martinez has put them back on level terms, meaning they're now one goal away from safety.
22:01 CET - Bayern have secured the domestic double with a 3-0 win over Stuttgart, with Kane completing yet another hat-trick from the spot in stoppage time to end a sensational individual season in a fitting fashion.
21:44 CET - The first major goals of the relegation battle in LaLiga have been scored just before the break, with Mallorca taking a lead against Oviedo that takes them up to 18th, a place and a point away from safety, and Elche going 1-0 up against Girona to fly all the way to 14th.
At the halfway point of the night, Girona are 19th and looking doomed, just two seasons after challenging for the title and finishing third.

21:43 CET - Kane has delivered again to surely seal another trophy for Bayern, with the striker making it 2-0 with 10 minutes to go.
21:17 CET - Bayern make the breakthrough! And there's no prizes for guessing who got the opener, with Harry Kane heading in a glorious cross from Michael Olise to get his 59th goal of the club season.
20:51 CET - Stuttgart are making things tough for Bayern in Germany's cup final, with the two sides goalless at the break and the underdogs having more efforts on goal than their opponents.
20:34 CET - With the title fight and the battle for Champions League qualification already over in LaLiga, our attention tonight will be less on usual suspects Barcelona and Real Madrid, and more on the sides below them.
A win for Getafe and a loss for Celta Vigo would see the former side qualify for the Europa League, but numerous sides can also take their Conference League spot from them.
Further down, Sevilla and Alaves are safe thanks to their H2H records, but Levante, Osasuna, Elche, Girona and Mallorca all enter the final day fighting to survive. The evening's standout clash sees Elche and Girona face one another.

20:19 CET - Italian champions Inter's season ended with a bang, with them fighting back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with Bologna.
However, our attention tonight is elsewhere in mainland Europe, with Bayern Munich underway in their cup final with Stuttgart, and LaLiga's final day kicking off in under an hour.
While there are still matters to be settled in the battle for Europa League and Conference League qualification in Spain, the main event is the conclusion to what has been a remarkable relegation scrap, with five teams in danger of going down tonight.
19:52 CET - Barcelona have sealed the Women's Champions League in style! A stoppage-time brace from Salma Paralluelo has given them a 4-0 win and a fourth European crown.
It's a flattering scoreline, with there being little to choose between the two sides on the whole, but Barca won't care one bit.

19:35 CET - Pajor does it again! The Polish player has doubled her and her team's tally to put them on the brink of becoming European champions.
19:22 CET - The scoring has been opened in the Women's Champions League final! With 55 minutes on the clock, Ewa Pajor has put Barcelona 1-0 up against Lyon, putting the finishing touches on a rapid counter-attack.
18:34 CET - Hull City have won the Championship play-off final and are back in the Premier League for the first time since 2017!
A 95th-minute goal from Oli McBurnie, who converted from close range after a mistake from Solomon Brynn, proved to be the difference, as the Tigers edged past Middlesbrough in dramatic fashion to return to the top tier.

17:38 CET - We're just over 20 minutes away from the women's Champions League final in Oslo, as three-time winners Barcelona take on eight-time winners Lyon for the ultimate prize.
Here are the starting lineups for both teams:

17:21 CET - Half-time in the Championship play-off final, and there's nothing to separate Hull City and Middlesbrough after a cagey opening 45 minutes at a sun-drenched Wembley.
The game's best chance fell to Hull's Oli McBurnie, who directed a close-range header agonisingly against the woodwork.

15:30 CET - We are just one hour from kick-off at Wembley for the so-called 'richest game in football', the Championship play-off final!

Our first notable result of the day has come in the A-League, with Auckland becoming the first-ever champions from New Zealand after a narrow 1-0 triumph over Sydney in the grand final.
Cameron Howieson scored the game's only goal via a deflected volley that wrong-footed goalkeeper Harrison Devenish-Meares.
