The NFL has announced their full European schedule for the upcoming 2023 campaign, with Wembley Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium set to host three regular season games.

London regulars the Jacksonville Jaguars will be returning to the capital for a back-to-back double - the first time a team has played two regular season games overseas in the NFL's history.

It will be the 10th time Fulham and Jaguars owner Shahid Khan's franchise have played in London.

Two games will also take place in Germany - another first for the NFL with multiple games in continental Europe.

The Jaguars will play as the 'home team' against Atlanta Falcons on October 1st at Wembley, before facing off with the Buffalo Bills as the 'away team' at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 8th.

The third game in London will see the Tennessee Titans play the Baltimore Ravens at Tottenham Hotspur's ground on October 15th.

In the pick of the international fixtures, reigning Super Bowl champions the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt on November 5th, before Indianapolis Colts play host to the New England Patriots in Germany on November 12th.

"In what promises to be a great spectacle of football for our global fans, we are thrilled to announce the five games to be played internationally in 2023, a record number of games in Europe in a season," said Peter O'Reilly, NFL Executive Vice President said in a statement.

"We are excited to bring three games to London once again, a city with a huge love for the sport and a passionate fan base across the UK.

"We are also pleased to confirm that the two games in Germany will be played in Frankfurt, a city steeped in NFL heritage. We look forward to staging both games at Eintracht Frankfurt's Stadium, building on the incredible atmosphere experienced at last season's game in Munich."

The Jags have long been rumoured to be considering uprooting to London full-time, though that move still appears some way off.

NFL top brass are continually looking to expand the international reach of the sport and, having staged events at Wembley since 2007, still see the UK as a key market for their growth.

"We can't wait to welcome teams to London for three brilliant weekends of football in October," said Henry Hodgson of NFL UK.

"To see the Jacksonville Jaguars extend their stay in the UK and play two regular season games here this year is indicative of the Jags' commitment to continuing to grow their fanbase here long-term."
